Paige and Phips planned a joyous celebration at the Owenego Inn. They prepared at the Omni hotel in New Haven before heading over to the Owenego for their first look. Once there, P&P shared a joyful meeting surrounded by hydrangeas. After sharing those moments alone, they were joined by their friends and family before the ceremony began under beautiful summer skies.
Phips stood in the garden overlooking the sound waiting for Paige, joy palpable in the air for the couple who had waited over a year for this celebration. The ceremony was heartfelt, filled with personal anecdotes and the guests smiled and laughed at the officiant's observations. As a friend of the couple, he knew just how perfect they are for one another. After the first kiss, the joyful party began in honor of the couple who finally pledged their love in front of ALL of their friends and family.
Soon, the sun started to dip below the horizon, and Paige and Phips took a walk out to the rocky jetty. There, they enjoyed a stunning sunset before making their way back into their reception. Music filtered out the open windows and poured over the lawn as they walked. It was a perfect celebration for a perfect couple, and although they had to wait an entire year to celebrate with friends and family, it just made the celebration that much sweeter.
