Love is in the Details.

We spent a lot of f time choosing the champagne flutes we would toast with on our wedding day, not because they would make the pictures look more fun (even though they do) but because we knew that those would be the toasting flutes we would bring out on special occasions. We would use them again on our anniversary, we would use them again on Valentine's day, we would use them again on a random Friday night while binge watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (because champagne is always a good idea). And every time we use those flutes, it takes us back. I can see the brilliant sunset out the window of our venue, I can hear the music from our amazing band, I remember just how it felt to toast to forever for the first time. And I like to imagine, that perhaps, one day, our daughter, Lucy, will toast with those flutes on her wedding day. I think that details matter. I think that details are part of your legacy. I think that love is in the details.
