This is my first week opening a box from Misfits Market and I am THRILLED! Opening that box was like coming home from the farmer's market without actually going to the farmer's market!
For those of you who don't know what Misfits Market is, it's a box of imperfect produce delivered to your doorstep! It's a potluck (you don't get to choose) mix of organic fruits and veggies, most of which are very common. I buy 98% of the items that showed up on a regular shopping trip, the other items are exciting and new. I get to try new recipes and produce that I might not normally sample. It's basically perfection in a box.
Misfits Market is helping to cut down on the food waste that America is infamous for. But the best part is, the produce they deliver is far from "ugly."
