It was an overcast spring morning. The sun shone dimly through the seaside haze as Jon & Marielle made their way out to the lighthouse. The tide was low, and the beach was dotted with algae painted rocks and reeds.
Jon & Marielle walked along the jetty, pausing every so often to admire the view. When we reached the beach, the two walked slowly toward the lighthouse collecting bits of sea glass as they went. They walked slowly, holding hands, and stopping every so often to exclaim over a piece of blue or green glass worn soft by the tide.
Overhead, an osprey and her mate flew, carrying twigs and treasures they found on the beach, building a nest in the old lighthouse. It was a perfect spring day for a stroll along the shore. After spending some time exploring the point together, stopping by the old lighthouse and meandering through the sea grass Marielle & Jon headed back toward their car hand in hand, helping each other across the jetty. Their laughter rang out across the harbor as the sun grew bolder and peeked out from behind the clouds. It was the perfect end to a perfect morning.

Marielle & Jon, I had so much fun with you two and I can't wait for your wedding at the Guilford Yacht club!
