Jessica & Andrew were married on a perfect day in Mystic, Connecticut. The day started off grey - a cool salty mist hovered along the water's edge as the sun shone dimly, smiling through the haze, waiting for the perfect time to break through and shine as brightly as their love. Both members of the Coast Guard, Jessica and Andrew, are often apart, following the call of sea and country. But is clear, that no matter where their travels take them, their hearts remain with each other, beacons of love that will always light the way home.
After an emotional ceremony at the Coast Guard Academy Memorial Chapel, we headed over to Mystic Seaport, where we meandered through the cobblestone streets of the quaint seaport village and stopped for portraits along the way. Their reception was decorated with personal touches. Hand sewn linens courtesy of Jessica's mom, monkey's fists tied by a member of the Coast Guard and wooden details hand painted by a family friend. Jess & Andrew celebrated the night away at their Latitude 41 reception as candle light glowed brightly throughout the restaurant; beacons of love for the perfect pair who will always find their way home to each other.
Thank you both, for your service. It was a joy and and an honor to spend the day with you.
xoxo
